*Our features average between 1,000 and 2,000 words; length of department pieces varies.

*Please be sure to spell check submissions. We follow Associated Press style.
 
*Please inform us whether or not you will provide photographs with your article.

*If you are submitting electronically, do not send images until your article has been accepted for publication.

*Hi resolution (300 dpi) digital or scanned photographs sent as JPGs or TIFs are preferred. Prints, slides and digital photos on discs are also accepted.
